This Privacy Policy explains how Caribbean Package LLC (“Caribbean Package,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our parcel-forwarding, purchasing concierge, returns handling, and related services (the “Services”), visit our websites, interact with us on social media, or otherwise engage with us. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Services.

This Policy applies to information we process as a controller. Where we process information on behalf of a merchant or partner, we do so as their processor/service provider under their instructions.
We collect the categories of personal information below. The exact data depends on how you interact with us.
a) Identification & Contact Data
Name, email, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, national ID/passport number (when required for customs, KYC, export controls, or age/country-specific regulations).
b) Account & Transaction Data
Account credentials, order history, parcel contents descriptions, declared value, customs forms, tracking numbers, returns/warranty details, support tickets, and communications with us.
c) Payment & Fraud-Prevention Data
Payment method details (processed by our payment processors), partial card details (tokenized), transaction identifiers, chargeback/anti-fraud signals.
d) Logistics & Device Data
Photos of parcels (for contents verification on request), weight/dimensions, storage timestamps, IP address, device/browser type, log files, and coarse location derived from IP.
e) Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar tools to operate the site, remember preferences, prevent fraud, and measure performance. See Section 10.
f) User-Provided Content
Item links, instructions, declarations, and communications sent via forms, email, chat, or social media.
Directly from you (forms, checkout, chat, email, phone, social media).
Automatically from your devices (cookies, logs, analytics).
From third parties (carriers, customs/brokerage, payment processors, merchants from whom you purchase, identity verification providers, address-validation services, and fraud-prevention partners).
We use personal information to: - Provide, operate, and improve the Services (including receiving, storing, consolidating, repacking, and shipping parcels; handling returns/warranty claims; and customer support). - Process payments and collect amounts owed; detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or abuse. - Prepare customs documentation, comply with export/import controls, sanctions screening, tax and accounting obligations, and carrier requirements. - Send transactional messages (e.g., tracking updates, service notices). With your consent or as permitted by law, send marketing communications you can opt out of at any time. - Maintain security (incident detection, debugging, logging) and conduct analytics to understand service performance. - Enforce our terms, protect our rights, and comply with legal requests.
Legal bases (EEA/UK/Switzerland): performance of a contract; compliance with legal obligations; our legitimate interests (service delivery, security, fraud prevention, analytics, marketing to existing customers); and your consent where required.
We disclose personal information to: - Service providers/processors (e.g., payment processors, IT/hosting, customer support, analytics, identity verification, address validation, anti-fraud). - Carriers & logistics partners (postal operators, couriers, freight forwarders, fulfillment centers) to deliver your shipments. - Customs, regulatory, and law enforcement authorities when required by applicable law or to clear shipments (e.g., CN22/CN23, commercial invoices, HS codes, export control screenings). - Merchants/marketplaces when necessary to process your order (e.g., returns, warranty, recalls, fraud investigations). - Business transfers (merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets). We will continue to protect your information and provide notice of any material changes. - Legal compliance & protection (to comply with law, court orders, or defend legal claims; to prevent harm or illegal activity).
We do not sell personal information for money. We may share limited data with advertising/analytics partners; see Section 9 and California Notice (Section 13) regarding your choices and opt-out rights.
We operate in the United States and may transfer personal information to countries that may have data protection laws different from those in your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU/UK Standard Contractual Clauses) and conduct transfer assessments.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, including to meet legal, accounting, tax, audit, export/import, and compliance obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Typical retention periods for transaction records may range from 5–7 years, subject to applicable law. When no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify information.
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege practices). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Transactional communications are necessary for the Services.
Marketing emails/messages: You may opt out via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): Where required by law, we recognize browser-based opt-out preference signals for targeted advertising.
We use: - Strictly necessary cookies (site functions, security, fraud prevention). - Functional cookies (remembering preferences). - Performance/analytics cookies (traffic and usage measurement). - Advertising cookies (where applicable, to measure and deliver ads).
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some features may not work.
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information, contact us to request deletion.
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as to: - Access and obtain a copy of your personal information. - Correct inaccurate or incomplete information. - Delete information (subject to legal exceptions). - Object to or restrict certain processing. - Port your information to another service. - Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise rights, email support@shipcaribbeanpackage.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may request information to verify your identity. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. You also have the right to contact your local data protection authority.

We use and retain information as described in Sections 4 and 7. Providing PI is generally necessary to use the Services.
We do not sell PI for monetary consideration. We may “share” PI for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by CPRA (e.g., limited identifiers/online activity). You can opt out of sharing via [Do Not Sell/Share My Personal Information] and by enabling a browser-based GPC signal; see Section 9.
California residents have the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/share, as well as the right to limit use of sensitive PI (where applicable) and to non-discrimination for exercising rights. You may use an authorized agent; we may require proof of authorization and identity verification. Submit requests to support@shipcaribbeanpackage.com.
We do not currently offer programs that provide financial incentives in exchange for personal information. If we do, we will provide a program-specific notice and obtain required consent.
